yes, but first these are wiki extensions, not forum. This forum is a complete different system than the wiki.
Second i tried a few of them on a testing platform, they do not really work good....

Two are not official from phpBB community, and the third is not for the current version which we use.

But for chatting it is no problem. Everyone who wants to chat can download some IRC chat client on his computer. you only need to connect to some of the many free IRC servers and make a chanel there. It's very easy. But i don't want to integrate a chat system as browser application on this server.
