Tartar disappearing?

No matter what and how hard I would try, I've always gotten a very slight little bit of tartar (not a noteable amount though) and it would also quickly come back after getting removed. Though two days ago most of it just detached and removed itself on it's own. I guess this is an effect of drinking more milk, or maybe it's a more long term effect of exposure to a pearlgonite, the cleanings (not the ones between my teeth
